Vintage Decor and More

     Another great place to shop for antiques, vintage items and fun decorating pieces is the Rusty Pick. It is downtown and is actually located right next to Bumbledee's.

     The Rusty Pick has about 9 vendors selling antiques, home decor and fun craft/art items.

(They call this stuff "mantiques". Love it!)

Rush Boutique

     Just as the name says, you are going to want to "rush" into this shop. Lots and lots of pretty things for you to wear.

     I like how owner Terri Trondson has everything arranged artfully and so organized! 

     Terri told me that the clothes she sells are upscale and redefined. I like that term! 

     There is a great selection of jeans...

a large selection of blouses, skirts, dresses... 

jackets and coats.

     They also have a section with special occasion dresses.

Their hours are:  Monday-Friday: 11 a.m.—5 p.m.
                                     Saturday: 10 a.m.—4 p.m.

     Rush's inventory changes daily so you will want to stop in often to see what's new. If you see something you like you can have them hold it for you for 24 hours. Rush's website is here.

     

Looking for Antiques?

     One of my daughter and my favorite places to shop downtown St.Cloud is Bumbledee's. If you're looking for antique,vintage and art items this is your spot!

     Downstairs in the store you will find lots of furniture and more antique and vintage items.

     Bumbledee's has anywhere from 28-30+ vendors at a time.  There is so much to see plan on spending some time (and money) here. As usual, I found something that just had to come home with me.  

    In keeping with their bee theme, Bumbledee's always has a sweet treat for you. Look for the Bit-o-Honeys near the check-out.

Sweet Sweet Music

      The St. Cloud Municipal Band performs FREE concerts at venues all around the St. Cloud  area. For great music outdoors go to Barden Park this Thursday night, August 18. This will be their final performance at Barden Park for the summer. Music starts at 7:30.

     Also the last concert in the Music in the Garden is this Sunday, August 21. Pachanga Society is performing.The concert is at 3:00 p.m. near the Gazebo in Munsinger Gardens on the banks of the Mississippi River. The concert is FREE. The Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society will again sell those fabulous $1 root beer floats.

Antique Car Show

     If you are looking for something fun to do with the family, the St. Cloud Antique Auto Club is having their 41st Annual Car Show & Swap. It is next Sunday, August 21, 7a.m.-3p.m. at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Admission is $7.00--kids 11 and under are FREE. More info here.

     Your one stop shop for most anything and everything is our Crossroads Mall. Located at 4101 Division Street it is easy to find.

     There are four big anchor stores:  Sears, JC Penney, Macy's and Target. 

          Besides shopping there are several places to get a haircut,
